If you love golf you are no doubt familiar with the TPC at Sawgrass Stadium Course, the annual host of the Players Championship and home to the famed island green par 3 #17. Less well known is Sawgrass Country Club, just east of the TPC at Sawgrass and a little closer to the ocean.
Sawgrass Country Club was the original venue for the Players Championship – often called the “fifth major” – before the TPC Stadium Course was built in 1982. Sawgrass Country Club now has 27 holes of some of the finest golf in Northeast Florida.
